Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant - Property Development

Job Description

Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant – This well-established Property Development business in Central London is looking to recruit an Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to report to the Financial Controller in a small accounts team. Duties include:  

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Managing petty cash
  • Setting up new tenant accounts and maintain existing account details within the sales ledger
  • Matching supplier invoices to advice notes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ad-hoc office administration, archiving and answering incoming.   

The successful candidate will be an experienced Accounts Assistant who is used to doing ledgers, expenses and reconciliations within a small finance team. An understanding of basic accounting principles, a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills are key.
