Database Administrator – This dynamic, high profile real estate, property investment business with a number of locations in the heart of London’s West End, is looking to recruit a Database Administrator to work in its small team to ensure that all the PRS (Private Rented Sector) information is updated accurately on the database. This is a new position in the business (previously outsourced), reporting directly to the CFO. Duties include:

Ensure all PRS units are correctly represented on the system against the relevant landlord entity Liaise with agents to received notification of new ASTs (Assured Shorthold Tenancies) as well as leavers.
Review all signed ASTs as provided by agent.
Adding all new ASTs onto the database as a tenant including name, rent and billing frequency.
Raise tenancy deposit invoices on the database, giving an understanding of deductions against deposits, ensuring that all costs of deposits are recovered.
Raise demands on the database and working with agents to ensure the demands raised are correct.
Allocate cash received from tenants.
Circulate weekly aged debtor reports, sorting arrears into outstanding periods.
Circulate weekly occupancy reports stating rental values by unit.
Liaise with agents to understand arrears position and actions being taken.
Review deposit refunds prior to returning to tenants.
Review accounting income against occupancy data.

The position will a capable and experienced Database Administrator with strong IT skills and an eye for detail as information must be updated accurately. A property background would be useful but not essential. Training on the system is provided.
