Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Manager - Our client is a leading Multisite provider of Healthcare services across the UK, generating payables of c£20m pa, seeking an impressive manager for its Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger team of 4-5 staff, based in the Head Office in North London.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the new Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Manager role will include:

  • Management, monitoring, review and development of accounts payable staff
  • Provision of key supplier performance, monthly spend and category analysis
  • Run supplier bid and tender processes and improve purchasing processes
  • Liaison with budget holders across the business and key suppliers
  • Hands-on invoice, payments and expenses processing and reconciliation
  • Schedule and initiate bank payment runs and oversee purchase ledger control account
  • Identifying system and process improvements to make efficiencies
  • Ad hoc project work eg ERP / EDI systems involvement
