Trainee Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk (office based in Central London)- our client is a one of London's premier property investment companies seeking an enthusiastic Graduate or ACCA/AAT studier for a junior role in its accounts function. Supporting an excellent team of qualified and part qualified accountants, the role will include:
- Purchase ledger, supporting the Manager with all aspects of purchase ledger including posting of invoices, arranging the payment run, reconciling supplier statements and dealing with queries
- General accounts duties including bank reconciliations, track and analyse credit card expenditure and provide cover for the sales ledger and payroll
- Support the management accountants and other accounts staff with month end journals, variance analysis and year end reporting
A relevant Accounting degree or similar / AAT is preferred although non-graduates with relevant accounting experience would be considered. Strong IT skills are essential, together with good verbal and written communication skills.
