Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant - Property Company
To assist the Director of Finance with day-to-day bookkeeping
Finchley / Barnet (5 days - 9.00am - 5.30pm)
Experience of Double Entry bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate ledgers - sales, purchase and general
- Process purchase/expense invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Resolving supplier queries and preparing supplier payment runs
- Raise accounts receivable invoices/credit notes; follow up outstanding balances (credit control)
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in preparation of banking reporting requirements
- Assist in intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse, reconcile and post credit card statements
- Assist with service charge postings and reconciliations
- Assist with preparation & submission of HMRC returns including VAT, CIS
- Assist with preparation & submission of payroll
- Month end support, assist with TB / preparation of management accounts /year end
- Assist with preparation of accounting schedules
- Perform ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed and assist with office admin
You should be an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant with excellent knowledge of Double Entry bookkeeping and Sage Line 50.
