Financial Controller - Travel

An ambitious Financial Controller with travel experience is required for this independent niche Travel Consultancy in Watford. You will report to the Group Finance Director with responsibility for all financial issues in the company while it continues with its ambitious growth plans. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing a small accounts team
Produce Monthly Management Accounts and year end Financial Accounts.
Budgeting and forecasting
Working Capital Management
Monthly BSP reconciliations.
ATOL and ABTA Returns.
Fixed Assets
Journals, accruals and prepayments
Overseeing Purchase Ledger and Credit Control staff
Bank reconciliations
Preparing quarterly VAT Returns.

The position will suit a capable experienced Financial Controller with a travel industry background (Qualified or QBE), strong management accounts and staff management experience and a hard working attitude. Experience of Sage Line 50 (or similar) is essential, as is a travel industry background.
